Saooti is an innovative company, launched in 2009


Shortly after its inception, Saooti was nominated for an award in the OSEO competition (run by the French ministry of research) and later won the Orange successful spin-off trophy. It then won an award in the Cré’ACC competition (organized by the Association of French accountants).

Saooti has official status in France as a “JEI” (Young Innovative Company) and allocates 50% of its annual R&D budget to innovation work on the Wikiradio solution, which is protected by 3 patents.

Saooti is a member of the French “Images and Networks” cluster and in 2012 won first prize within this cluster in Nantes (the “Loading The Future” competition).

Other awards won by Saooti: the Ruralitic 2011 European trophy (Aurillac, France), the STARTWEST 2010 international trophy (Nantes, France), Interconnected 2010 (Lyon, France) and the ARCES 2012 Grand prix for “Digital communication” (Lyon, France).


Prior to co-founding Saooti, Laurent developed audio and video communication solutions for Orange as director of an R&D team of 130 engineers spread across France, the UK and Poland. Before working for Orange, he was responsible for telecoms developments within Siemens’s R&D division in France. Laurent has telecoms and web experience both in France and internationally. He graduated from Telecom Bretagne (an institute specializing in engineering and telecoms), after completing a math course in Tours, France.

Technical Director

ean-Christian has in-depth experience of R&D through his work on service-oriented architecture and the development and integration of multimedia service platforms in a large-scale and international operational context. Prior to co-founding Saooti, he was leading an R&D team at Orange. Jean-Christian has a degree from SUPELEC (a French graduate school of engineering) after completing preparatory classes at Janson de Sailly in Paris.

Director of Content

Anne des Roseaux-Layer has acquired a wealth of experience in the world of media and communication. After graduating with a degree in journalism from ESJ Paris, she worked for a number of years in radio for BFM Radio (formerly BFM Business) before co-founding an editorial agency for which she applied her radio and journalistic know-how for the benefit of businesses and their communication. She joined Saooti in 2013.

Directeur Commercial & Business Development

Stéphane has been active in the field of voice technologies and software solutions for companies, telecommunications operators and the media for more than 20 years. He has accompanied his clients in setting up innovative and disruptive services, Transformation. After serving as business engineers and later as sales manager for various software companies, integrators and ESNs (L & HSP, Telisma and Niji in particular), Stéphane then became an entrepreneur in telecoms and voice technologies before Management of the 222Business Pool, a growth accelerator for Breton startups. Since January 2017, he enthusiastically joined Saooti, whose commercial development he is leading.
